Neiko 31215A and Harbor Freight paint gun review & comparison

Trying out the Neiko 1.7mm HVLP spray gun, about $38 on Amazon. Please note I am by no means a professional painter. I decided to paint my BMW E21 myself and am learning as I go along while trying to save a few dollars and sharing my experience as I move along.

Thanks. I thought maybe it turned the other way or something. Got the tip open with a #10 wrench and a hammer.

Standard practice is to remove the fluid needle prior to removing the fluid tip to prevent damaging the fluid needle..

That looks identical to what Grizzly used to sell as their “professional” gun (I can’t find it on their site now, there is one with a silver finish in 1.5mm, I have one with the same finish as yours that I have a 1.3 or 1.4 and a 1.7mm tips for. It got great reviews and works well.
