AM-Gaming says:

I loved the movie I just wished they used the classic saw music a little more at the end

Adam's House says:

I kind of wish they would of brought John Kramer back. Because he makes these films and really needs him. The ending? I was disappointed -_- . I didn’t care alot for the current characters. I was like, meh. Some bad acting. Great movie though. But wish they would of brought him back. That would of been EPIC. The biggest twist was seeing Jigsaw, I almost screamed in joy and yelled FINALLY. But meh. Not sure if I’m going to continue to watch the sequel if they make one. I didn’t care too much for the new killer. Should of went bringing John Kramer back route imo. They could of easily found a way to resurrect him. I need to care for the characters in order to be invested in their story. I was hoping they’d explain what happened to Hoffman. But NOPE, another copycat Jigsaw killer. That story’s already been told. We’ve seen it before.

Max Headroom says:

The trailer felt so ridiculous, I was totally ready for them to pull a Jason X type silly sequel and brought back Jigsaw as a zombie.

Corey Gilson says:

I definitely liked this one for sure. I have to dedicate a SAW marathon very soon on my 2 days off. It’s long overdue & have been wanting to since I saw this flick…

Tim Worley says:

if theres one thing i’ve learnt from halloween, nightmare on elm street and friday the 13th. its that john kramer is still alive. if any future directors/scriptwriters are reading. john kramer develops the cure for cancer in some super convoluted backstory that ties in lawrence gordon and this new guy together. make it super B grade and comedic but not in the try hard way, as in dont spell out exactly what you want us to think the entire time and hit us with some bullshit prequel tie in we saw coming in the first 1/2 hour but veered away from because “that would be stupid” as i thought trying to piece together a tonne of shit that just wasnt there you may not make a tonne of money initially in the box office but im 90% sure this didnt either, ! if it did 2nd day/week sales were terrible i bet! there was like 3 groups of people seeing this film the same session as us and we we’re all laughing more than shocked or uncomfortable which is what i was expecting from a saw film
think about the cult potential. i’ll see my pitch 5 times in the cinema

Johnny Boy says:

Haven’t seen it yet. So is it worthy?

L.O.S. says:

Great review man, and channel as well! Just saw the movie 5 minutes ago, I literally said what the fuck out loud in the empty theater when John Kramer showed up. Thank fucking god they didn’t go the Lazarus pit route lmaoooo

chuckypiston says:

good movie but am I the only one who is pissed that for ten years they still didn’t tell us who were the two other pigs were in there saw 7 movie when they drugged Hoffman it was 3 pigs one of the pigs was dr Gordon, so who were the other 2 ???

Efrain Carrasquillo says:

Great movie

Matthew Baumann says:

I really wish this movie would have had a big twist that was foreshadowed like Saw 2. There was no “holy crap!” moment like when Jigsaw said Eric’s son was in a safe place. Maybe that’s because there wasn’t a main game in this movie. It was kind of like Saw 5 and Saw 3D in that sense. I liked the ones that had a main psychological game like Saw 1 with Dr. Gordon, Saw 2 with Eric Matthews, Saw 3 with Amanda and Jeff, and Saw 4 with Rigg. There are things I really liked about Jigsaw though. I liked the opening scene, the bucket head trap, the directing, Eleanor’s character, and the shotgun trap. I found Logan’s reveal to be a bit too much like Hoffman since he’s also out for revenge. It would be better to have a copycat killer because the apprentice twist has been done many times already.

david mase says:

First off.. I enjoyed your review, second, i liked the movie, but I like all of them….. Now some philosophies: I do believe in a future sequel that Logan will be reveled to be one of two people wearing the pigs masks helping Dr. Gordon trap Hoffman… The other one? I’m sure we will eventually find out :-) Also I am personally a huge fan of HOFFMAN, and I hope that somehow he escapes that room, and goes into hibernation for a while? I do think Dr Gordon will return as well, and I would like to see all of the remaining apprentices of Jigsaw try to one-up each other, and Hoffman eventually tracking them down, and trying to get his revenge on them…. (not buying that he starved to death in that room, like the rumors state)…. Also what happened to John Kramer’s corpse?…. Is it kept away his Norman Bates did w-his mother’s body? I’m sure that answer will reveled as well :-)…Keep up the great work!!!

Ryan Slasher says:

I loved this movie in the sense of, I truly hated the people in the trap, before I felt bad for certain characters and I wanted them to prevail, but in here it truly made me see why jigsaw did the things he did. These people were vile, lying manipulative human beings and I was happy to see them get killed off. It also raises the thought of 3/5 was in his immediate life. One was the cause of his cousin dying, another he was neighbors with, and one messed up his cancer records causing all the events to take place and even him driving off the ledge for suicide. After he helps logan he makes one important note. “you taught me how to give justice without seeking revenge” And I think as a story character, that develops wholely, and if ANYONE is going to be his successor, it SHOULD be logan, he basically crafted what Jigsaw was and I wanna see his story because I am genuinely interested. As for the Laser trap. yes, I totally agree, it was WAYYYY overdone and I think a simple watching the lasers pierce through guys skin slowly killing him and showing the evil within would’ve been better. and I love how he said, “I speak for the dead” because he essentially did. I truly am rooting for this guy, even though he’s “the big bad” I truly hope he survives a few more movies. I love the thought provoking concept of this movie an like EVERY saw film, FORCES you to think. I love love love it and Im GLAD you see it too. This movie brought the franchise BACK to its roots and NOBODY sees it :/ they’re all hating.. its sad.

Justin Herrera says:

Tell me in ur opinion where can they go from here?

Arthur Vandelay says:

they need to stop using tobin bell, it’s silly going back in time when the guy is getting older *(8 years since last movie?).

Jeks Bunny says:

Hey there I’m new to your videos and am basically a saw fanatic XD this is a response to the ending of saw 7 those 2 pigs with doctor Gordan at the end of Saw 7 were the 2 guys from the love triangle trap the one that was in public with the girl at the very top that was killed by buzz saw I am 99 percent sure I learned that from the directors commentary of saw 7
It’s good to see a fellow saw fan a lot of people give the series a lot of bad reviews after number 3 and said jigsaw was terrible so it’s good to see someone giving it a good review and I REALLY hope they make a Jigsaw 2 Tobin bell (Jigsaw) is a fantastic actor

Tony Ybarra says:

Why did Jigsaw say he’s never murdered anybody but he murdered Sing with the shotguns and DEFINITELY attempted to murder Tapp by cutting his throat.

Can someone explain this away so it’s not a plot hole? I’ve been trying.

AM-Gaming says:

To give it more of a nostalgic feeling

Kazzy Plays says:

I watched this just before Halloween, and one thing is still burning in my mind. The game that we see in the film took place years before the events of the earlier films, right? How then do we have certain parts of that game that are technologically superior to what was available at the time? Plasma TVs? Billy with glowing eyes? Maybe you could say Logan modified the game for the new players, but we still have to understand that what is shown on film is the actual game from years ago, so it’s virtually impossible for some of the things to look how they did given how John’s traps and games looked in the future. As late as Saw III we saw Detective Kerry with her 90’s era TV with the huge box on the back~ It just really bothers me….throws off the continuity a bit.

Tihana Škrinjarić says:

I’d rather have John alive than Logan being new Jigsaw!

Maurice Tha Beast Vlogz says:

I absolutely agree with you man. Especially about the story telling not getting enough credit. Only opposite reaction I had was when John reveals himself after taking off his hood. I was like damn how are they gonna explain this. then it’s revealed the barn games took place ten years about I was stunned like wow. So he really is still dead. Another thing I liked about it is the multiple games and traps. instead of going from room to room like the previous installments, it had multiple games and traps in the area.
And I thought Billy looked much more creepy and scary with his eyes lit up like that.
BTW I’m also a huge Saw fanatic since the first movie.

Brandon Lightning says:

Now that I have seen the movie I can watch the spoiler reviews of it, yay!

Average Joe says:

They TOTALLY should have had Jigsaw back. No one cares about logic in these torture porn movies. He could have survived the treatments, make the body they autopsy and bury his twin/clone/plastic surgery altered whatever.
Make it all in this time period and at the end have the screen go black. The puppet wheels out and starts laughing. BINGO! Reboot instead of ripoff.

Edd Guiltinan says:

Prolly one of the best if not THE best Saw sequel

John Cleary says:

I completely agree with you. I absolutely loved #JigsawMovie and I was thoroughly shocked by the twists and turns throughout the movie. :) #LiveOrDieMakeYourChoice

D Fine says:

*Spoiler comment* I loved this film too, my jaw nearly hit the floor at the twist. What I thought was a bit silly was how the bodies in the new game turned up dead the EXACT same way as the game from 10 years ago. How the hell did the killer know those “players” would make the “same choices”. Like if they’d passed their tests! (Just heard you mention it!) It seems that was just a way to trick the audience into thinking the game was happening now. (I bought it!) Also if that guy hadn’t put his leg through the floor that wouldn’t have lead to the grain trap. LOL . I totally loved it anyway, good review :O)

Nathan Carter says:

This is just my interpretation but I think the mistake that people are making is that they are thinking this movie is Saw 8. To me, this was not Saw 8, it was Jigsaw, the beginning of a new story. This was them going forward with Logan as the official new Jigsaw and a final sendoff for Tobin Bell.

“Value your life” Jigsaw is done with. This new Jigsaw to me seems like hes going to be The Punisher where the people put into traps are going to be horrible human beings that deserve it hence the “I speak for the dead” speech.

Another complaint I have heard is why would Logan recreate the game when the police never knew about it just to get revenge. To me, recreating the game was for theatrics. It was to let the public and the media know that Jigsaw is back.
