HI !! CAN THIS BE USE TO SAND A CAR PAINT ? TKS

Being a Furniture maker, Porter Cable is the only name I use for hand held power tools. To me there the best… I have the older model of that sander and those sanders are worth there wait in gold… you hit the issue right on about the bag not staying on. On the old model it was not a bag, but a container and it had a locking twist system on it. That baby is meant to stay on. I think they wanted to make it a cheaper bag.
