30 minutes for a 3.0 ah battery and 15 minutes for a 1.5 ah battery.

thank you. this will server my purposes very well. i’m going to paint some trim. looks like i’ll need this sander with 2 1.5 ah battery. i have to ask the question, i’m presuming both batteries will last about 30 minutes. thanks again.

The 1.5 batteries would last roughly 15 minutes each. The 1.5 amp hour batteries charge faster, but last a shorter duration per charge. I like to think of the 1.5 hours as having half the “gas tank” than that of the 3.0 ah batteries.

Just ordered to add to my makita kit not really familiar with random orbit sanders what’s versatility gonna be like eg above head and keeping it held right or do you need Ya work piece one a bench great video thanks
