My thoughts on the General International Combination 4″x36″ Belt / 6″ Disc Sander, Model # BD7004.
Thanks to Home Depot and General International for providing a review sample in exchange for my honest, unfiltered feedback.

Great video. You’re right about the workmanship – one of the mounting holes in the cast iron base on mine was so screwed up I had to sue Sears in small claims court to get my money back. I ended up having to fabricate a wood spacer to get a bolt to seat properly. Did you not even install the disc sander lower guard? Mine seated so close to the disc sander that it fouled on the the disc sanding pad. I had to add washers to pull it away.
Looks like the Clarks 6 inch disc / 4 inch belt sander.I have the Clarks sander, and am having some problems with the metal disc being a little loose. I have no idea how to tighten it back up. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks.
I’ve seen some bad accidents from cheap sanders – in my opinion this is not safe for sale or use
i have there miter saw …not so impressed as time goes on …nice vid

That looks like the older version of the WEN and others without the top guard. Watch because it can bite you if not careful. Had WEN model for over year ;use all the time and its nice DIY machine at cheap price.
