After a long battle with our old electric hedge trimmer, endless cables and wobbling ladders it was time to turn to a petrol alternative and even on a small budget we seem to have found the answer.

How could you get it for GBP99.00? They have it, on special, for GBP125.00 at the moment, normally it’s GBP149.00…
Useful video but, should have proper protective equipment while using this tool. i.e: gloves & helmet with visor.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Brilliant….if I can, I like to DIY
Nice independent review of something I was considering buying.
Thank you for taking the time to make it.
Thanks – helpful as I had just bought the four in one version and I never have the patience to read manuals!
What kind of petrol mower do you have. ?
You should of pulled the choke right off when she was started also when she struggled to start try knocking off the choke.
Why do they say petrol in Britain istead of gasoline like everywhere else?
fuel lines rot on this model , not a problem to replace
Is it still working?
I like that you have a go at anything. subbed.
Just purchased the 4-1 version, good video reminded me to put chain oil on the hedge cutter blades.
i wouldnt bother with any protective gear except eye goggles deffo need them
Use gloves and safety shoes (steel toe cap) next time. Trainers – not a good idea.
Have you had any problems with the trimmer? I have seen a lot of bad reviews on screw fix regarding the fuel line rotting.
On the hedge trimmer where you have to pull out the pin then squeeze the two parts together to adjust the angle I found that to pull out the pin then put a cable tie around the back of it to keep it out made it a lot easier to adjust the angle. Leave the cable tie in place after cutting off the excess then adjusting angle is more a one handed job.
I bought the same trimmer from Screwfix, but sadly it wouldn’t work (engine fine, but driveshaft not driving blades).
When I took it back they told me that had a number returned – now it’s out of stock. I got a refund.
How are you getting on with yours?
