Milwaukee M18 Brushless Hedge Trimmer Review

The Milwaukee M18 Brushless Hedge Trimmer runs best on their new 9.0Ah High Demand lithium-ion battery, and the 2726-21HD kit lets you do just that. It features a nice, comfortable handle and a trigger that fits up to three fingers. There’s no rotating handle, but the tool will run for up to 2 hours on a full charge of that 9Ah battery pack.

For Pro capacity, the Milwaukee Brushless Hedge Trimmer can cut branches up to 3/4-inches in diameter, and the blades move at up to 3,400 SPM (strokes per minute).

An all-metal gear box and slider crank mechanism help this tool power through branches. Finally, the brushless motor means less maintenance and long life. We used it to tackle several different hedges, and the performance was on par with other models—even those on 36V, 40V, 60V, and 80V battery platforms.

Ok my shindaiwa 235 does a better job trimming. The milwaukee is ok I do use it when im just touching up and yes I can tell the difference a lot . But the milwaukee does have its place and I will use it from time to time. What I would like to see milwaukee make is a chain saw? Mikita has one a top handle 12 inch cut heyMILWAUKEE your falling behind. You can make your a 2 battery set up total 36 volt just putting it out there. Hope I dont need to buy the Mikita love my milwaukee stuff. I love the string trimmer so far does a good job and yes I have the blower as well its ok.
