Meh a little late to the game. But still good.

Gary Garboski says:

Love it also. Use mine to mix grout and mortar. Never an issue.

jaguar1822 says:

Thanks for this review…1300 lbs simply Awesome!… By the way, is it lightweight or heavy?

ileto reyes says:

Sorry to say no stock on homedepot apps haha

I need to wait till next month☺️

Donny Sanner says:

These are nice drills no doubt , decent power , reasonable price and well thought out for the most part….however , they do not seem seem to be able to put up heavy duty all day bashing on the job site. I’ve seen 2 of these drills give up the ghost in the last 2 weeks. I cannot say for sure exactly what happened……however the problem seems to be in the trigger….

Warhammer40kfans says:

what is the name of that song?

leroy mayers says:

We need a octane circular saw next from ridgid

nuclear explosion says:

I still like Milwaukee fuel better

Thomas Carroll says:

The only information I was able to get on this is exactly what you said that is 1300 foot pounds of torque but I also know it’s 2 speed what are those specs usually 0-500 low speed I’m just guessing here

Matt Johnson says:

if I’m punching through steel I’m using an impact. But still appreciate the showing.

Eddie Smallhorn says:

The Ridgid is nice, love those LEDs….another great review.

Thomas Carroll says:

Can’t. Wait. For. The new jigsaw coming soon

East Coast Resident says:

I have mostly Ridgid Tools and it all has been very good to me. I know some guys who are not having very much luck with the tools at all but I treat all my stuff like crap and it keeps coming back for more. When you couple that with a lifetime service agreement when registering online, there’s really no reason to buy any other tool even if you are a professional trades person.

mike roten says:

hey “fanboy” great vid “fanboy” thanks for the vid “fanboy” lol man that thing looks beastly!!

You need to slow down your drilling in metal. Alls you’re doing is heating the bits up and making them dull

kingofthecrease30 says:

i hope they come out with an octane impact drill

Thomas Carroll says:

Nice. I been talking. About for. A. Few months now. I. Need. To. Get. This in my hands soon is it. Really. 1300 foot pounds of torque??? I. Am. Team Ridgid. I. Still. Like my older DeWalt dc935 I. Got. N.o.s. In February. I. Use it. For. Home diy but. That Ridgid. Got me. Happy

Daniel Gomez says:

I have that 9.0 ah octane battery on regular brushless and i see that that one has the chick just like the ridgid gen 5x brushed version is this better in every way?

Child of the Ancient says:

Rigid desperately needs a band saw.

ichiban2point0 says:

So is this Ridgid’s version of the Milwaukee’s fuel line? Fuel…Octane… hmmm very interesting. Lol.

Shawn G says:

When can we expect to see a octane vs fuel comparison?

Kasey Schaeffer says:

I’ve switched almost all of my tools over to Ridgid for work. Your not the only fan boy. My Dewalt XRP is now a maraca after 3 years. Done with Dewalts. The megamax is a beast. I love it.

KONAMAN Studio says:

You said it your Fanboy I I’m a fanboy to Orange love yes it does the job I needed to do you take care of the little ones and your wife will see you on your next review

Mike Harvey says:

Just picked it up last night. Was glad to find it instock.  Great drill and huge increase in power from other GEN5X drills which were good enough.

Trey Jones says:

Impressive to say the least. I am also a huge fan of the new octane line. hope to add this and the jig saw to the collection really soon!

Afzaal Muhammad says:

Nice tool

M A says:

Love the video bro! Keep em coming.

Joshua Burgess says:

High torque hammer drill leaderboard: Metabo and Ridgid tied for 1st place at 1,300 in lbs. I believe Hitachi is next with 1,240 in lbs. Barely behind that is the AEG fusion with 1,239 in lbs. Down from there we have the Milwaukee gen2 and gen3 both at 1,200 in lbs. Next down is Makita at 1,090 in lbs. DeWalt has to be up there too but they don’t use in lbs to measure torque so we can only guess. I think that covers all the drills over 1,000 in lbs
