Dwight Bennett says:

bill, how is the quality control on this, is there any runout on the chuck? (Looking at 1:40)Impressive hammer mode performance. Would love to see it on some 100 year old stone walls, that’s what was installing a photocell on today.

jonathanjpina says:

Very thorough video! Awesome!

Steve Jobs says:

Felipe Valenzuela says:

Okay thanks for the recommendations and thank you.

Felipe Valenzuela says:

What kind of drillbit are better for making holes because they always spend 3 to 4 per job

ปราชญ์ ศรีหาโคตร says:

How much?

uTubed007 says:

SplinterHDCombat says:

this isn’t a flexvolt tool though if you aren’t getting 54volts surely, you’re just using the flexvolt battery right?

Zane Nelson says:

I have this drill and I love it

Jay Chris says:

i swear no one puts out better tool reviews them you sparky.. really appreciate your helpful information

Mr. Marian says:

Why didnt you use new DeWalt 117 mm or about 4 5/8 inch bit? Its a beast! I saw it on one of the DeWalt expositions.

dave daved says:

great review now do a head to head with the makita thx

Kevin Laurion says:

How can you remove the chuck on this model? There doesn’t seem to be a screw on the inside that is removable. thanks.

Ruben Rivera says:

a good drill by far

Anthony Weeks says:

lol drill might be ok but Milwaukee will out do it every time. look your useing Milwaukee bits! dewalt dont make them kind of tools. Milwaukee might be a high budget tool that I really cant afford to many of but there is no other competitor that has anything on them.

Marco Rossini says:

hello body….you know the different between the dcd 996 XR and the XRP??? in some videos i see a xrp and in other only the XP like in your.. thanks and good video ( sorry for my english i am from argentina xD)

Ashton lowe says:

nice drill would be nice to see if it would drive the bigger switch blades on speed 2. it looks like it would have the power

Phillip Amer says:

Great video, I have both the 996 and the 887 impact driver. I love them both. For smaller jobs i have the milwaukee m12 2404 drill .

show stopper says:

got one n it was like 329 plus best set ever

RichardJ2012 says:

thank you very useful information here

Justin D says:

Great video as always Bill. I was wondering when you were going to get to this, since it is arguably the best hammer drill on the market to date.

Walker Ashcraft says:

I noticed he mentioned the chuck on this drill, I have something to say about that. I have the older 20v brushed dewalt hammer drill. I have replaced the chuck on it three times now. twice with the original style chuck and this last time with a jacobs brand chuck. The original chuck would come loose on the bits I was using, jam up and not come loose if you were really using it hard and eventually, the chuck would jam up completely and you couldn’t get it to release. That drill has been awesome, except for the chuck. If I could return it now I would. Four chucks is ridiculous. My old Ryobi has been going strong for nearly twenty years! All of my Dewalt tools throw sparks and smell like sun dried boiled eggs when they’re running.

John Pearrell says:

Hey Bill, I have a ceiling fan/light fixture that I have placed LED bulbs in. Now when I turn on the fan, the bulbs glow until I turn them off with pull chain. The light is controlled through wall switch

arturo alejandre says:

dewalt its the most power tool comparing price and quality

Archibald Haddock says:

thank you very useful information here

Just for Fun says:

This is a great tool but one thing i don’t like about it is the fact that is has high BPMs that’s gonna cause a faster wear down of the hammer action.

Big Daddy says:

Both drills are great but for most people go with the compact models, that is why they make impact drivers and wrenches for so you don’t accidently break your wrist which can happen easly with these powerful drills

Иван Рубанович says:

Excellent my friend. Thanks for nice sharing. All the best My like # 257 🙂 Anis* Subscribe me if you like Please

dee spag says:

made in USA nice

mrexecutive1 says:

I’d go with the Assembled in USA Dewalt, rather than the Milwaukee made in China!!
