I’ve went through 7 Stihl trimmers in 15 years but I love them and we abuse them. Valve adjustment every year along with general maintenance and they will last long time . Valve adjustment easy. Look it up!

William Johnson says:

Wow mistake number 3 your technique is horrible. Press play. Why I’m still watching is a mystery.

Pigtitan2001 says:

Stihl

Dave Butler says:

Stihl are great for the first year then they go shit lol

William Johnson says:

Stihl is the best

superunknown ? says:

I’d like to try a 2620

Jeremy Black says:

Hard to beat a stihl

Jayvyn Arida says:

i’d pick the stihl because i have more experience with my stihl fs 56ce

William Johnson says:

Mistake number 2 don’t ever bump it bends the shaft. Pressing play

Interesting video. Thanks!

Dave Butler says:

Local councils in uk have switched to echo from stihl.

Kaden Galassi says:

Stihl stihl is the dream machine should take it any day over echo

Anthony Mark says:

Well i hate to hurt most of your feelings. I owned a stihl demo saw and a stihl chain saw and always had a problem with them. I always hear people talking about how good quality they are however I owned two of them back-to-back and they were junk maybe it was a bad batch. I will be buying me an Echo trimmer and Echo blower soon before spring starts 2018. back in the day I used to use a Homelite chainsaw and that lasted a very long long time and Black & Decker I still own from back in the day and they still work fine. It was a Black & Decker jigsaw and still runs fine. Getting back on track with Stihl products I just don’t see the benefits. I see landscapers starting them up and they’re out there pulling that rope to get it started many times it takes 6 to 8 pulls to get it started. Not a fan

vilma munoz says:

because I have a blower name echo pb770t and pb 580t

Robert moreland says:

the T in 2620t stands for torque it has a gear reduction head if you remove the trimming guard you can go almost to 20 in and cutting length in the motor will handle it fine. the echo will last for years of service compared to the Stihl do to Stihl 4 mix motor more moving Parts faster to wear out

Robert Allen says:

STIHL ALWAYS …

Natanas Poskus says:

Stihl is shittt

Richard Blandy says:

If the echo has a cable shaft, I wouldn’t want it, my other echo’s with cable shaft start making racket as the plastic around the cable starts wearing. If anyone knows if echo 2620T uses cable or solid shaft, let me know

Thomas Smith says:

The stihl does not require a large fuel tank because it will use much less fuel than the two stroke.Same power, stihl is lighter overall so that would be my choice.

A person named Sam says:

Both trimmers look dependable and heavy duty

vilma munoz says:

Echo

Ricardo Ramirez says:

2620T is better for me feels lite, stihl feels heavy, I always edge with my weedeater and the fuel is enough to weedeat 4/5 houses weedeat and edge more fuel the further and faster it is, you don’t have to stop and re fuel as often

Mario Arcos says:

Stihl # 1 little heavy but excellent engine an more trong on all lawn caping supply …. and by the way one of the last made in usa

Joshua Utley says:

I’m having a hard time deciding which trimmer to purchase. I’m looking at a Stihl FS 70 R, or another pro series model, or echo. Any suggestions?

Quentin 33 says:

Kawasaki 23 cc have always been what i’ve bought for my company. But Echo and Stihl are good too. Kawasaki trimmers for me, Echo blowers, Stihl chainsaws. But that’s just me.

Reid whittington says:

In my business I have ran both Echo and Stihl for years shindaiwa here and there. Of these 3 I gravitate more towards the Echo for 2 reasons really. 1. reliability. thats not to say that the stihl isn’t reliable, they last years as do the Echos but constant valve realignment and carb adjustment due to them being harder to crank and keep running. 2. dealer support in my area is higher for the echo than stihl (this one will vary depending on where you live.) just my $.02

Jeffery Parthemore says:

I own use both of these in my business. Both are good machines I give the Stihl the edge because I find it easier to start and the larger guard and easy not as loud as the echo.

Texas Edge says:

I have ran both. The 4 mix is far more heavy. Maintenance sucks on them. Valves makes sure you got more maintenance. Big thing is the brand biased koolaid drinkers who run stihl watched this with their eyes closed. 2620 never bogged even a hair. The 4 chit did. Head on the 4 mix sucks too. 4 mix don’t like the Texas heat either.

I P S says:

Schindiawa

R C says:

I swear by my 2620T trimmer and my Shindaiwa LE254 edger. Both have been extremely reliable.
