So I just bought my harborfreight rotary tool, in spite of this review. I used it to cut out a broken bolt deep inside my engine bay in addition to a pesky rebar that was sticking out in the garage. 25 bucks and cheaper with 20% off coupon. But what I identified as being critical was the bit, so I got a nice set of diamond disks and combined it with the right RPM-setting and pressure (you want the bit to do the work, not your arm pressing down as that’ll damage any rotary tool)
Man , This Guy does not have Clue what talking about there no Chucks they are called Collets HF start at 8000 _35.000 the Dremel 5000-32.000 Rpm if watch he put much more arm pressure on HF than the Dremel Save Time Pass So Called Comparison By !!! there ole saying its not the Machine it is Man running it aka Machine , DOH!!!

Great cat though.
That Harbor Freight tool is JUNK! On mine the bits wouldn’t stay in!
guys I posted a video of the black and decker rotary tool. I show it in action cutting bolts. check it out. its a good competitor for these.
Because you made this video you saved me hard earned cash. Thank you. Great comparison.
They are both huge. HF sells a pneumatic version that works rather well. Central Pneumatic-55,000 rpm adjustable speed.
$22 vs $80

Your cat seems to prefer the Dremel tool.
The dremel 3000 I just bought seems a lot more like the HF one than your Dremel 4000…
Maybe I should take mine back to Home Depot…
