Dremel vs. Amazon Tacklife – Hand Rotary Tools

When my Dremel started having multiple problems I needed to order a new one. As the Dremel wasn’t the benchmark in quality I thought lets see if these Tacklife rotary tools are any good!

D. O'Hanlon says:

They make a quick change sanding drum that holds up quite well. The strange “drill” is for cutting holes in drywall.

CAElite says:

That tune in your intro always reminds me of Rummelsnuff, what’s the actual source out of curiosity?

Ian Collings says:

The weird drill is a special glass/mirror drill. …….. Just pulling your plonker mate, but you never know, it might be if you look into it. lol. Space corps directive blah blah blah …. Kryten shut up!!!! RSM8, keep them all coming

Jan Verschueren says:

I cod make a fish pun here, but I’ll pretend it’s just a typo.

21:45 That is called a down-spiral cutting bit that is used for freehand cuts in wood and other materials. It works fantastic for cutting holes in drywall to fit receptacle and switch boxes.

Seb K says:

Dremel sucks balls . I went through 6 in about 4 years . I spent nearly £400 on a Bosch and it is far better .

Mustang says:

The new metalworks idea was not a load of pollocks.

dazcwl says:

Can you do an update video on this tacklife tool?

shaggy says:

Doesnt Bosch do dremels? Also internet can be fixed… Use your mobile to do the live stream. I do sometimes when walking or doing stuff outside… Not that people watch my stuff but i dont care about the whole no views as i use my channel to help me remember stuff. Anyways if you have a half decent mobile and it has a half decent camera with decent mobile internet, stick some velcro on a clear or glass tub, put mobile in and then hit record while tub is stuck to ceiling or a bit of wood.. failing that just buy a cheap as fuck £5 mobile phone holder, bolt it into wood, use a clamp to pin the wood to desired working location.

P.s. i still dont trust the squirrels, motorcycle still broke and i have my mod 2 on the 1st of may… Typical of my motorcycle to breakdown when important stuff is happening.. would blame the squirrels but cant blame squirrels for dodgy linkage.

altypeRR says:

I’ve recently had to do the winding fix on mine. The issue with the pin is if you don’t get the spring clip in exactly the right place for the hold button you get that issue. 3 attempts it took to get mine back together but works fine now. The salmon was slippery.
