RIDGID 18V Cordless Drill Review

Review of an 18V Lithium Ion cordless drill. Purchased at Home Depot. Great tool with amazing warranty, including replacement batteries. This was a highly recommended drill by the top consumer review magazine. Amazon has some available: http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=ridgid%20drill&linkCode=ur2&tag=to008-20&url=search-alias%3Daps Home Depot is a great source too.

This drill wont even put in a 2 inch screw without bogging down. Bits wont even stay in the chuck.

David Michael says:

I have been converting my cargo van to a camper and this is my go to drill. No problems with it. Just need to do the research to learn how best to use it. I totally recommend it for every day use. Nice size feel and weight. Easy battery inset. It came with impact driver and jig saw as part of kit. The key thing I learned is to read the instructions with these tools, watch U-Tube videos about use, and then practice before final application. Remember to get the warranty. Ridgid is a stickler about the 90-day time limit.

Jay Winters says:

This video is a joke: he’s a salesman. He isn’t a contractor whose had it for years. He just bought it. He’s not worth hearing.

nice tools

I bought it to do simple house work. Drill wouldn’t screw a 3 inch screw into a stud. Wouldn’t recommend.

I own this drill and a festool 18v drill for the last two years and I can tell anyone with 100% certainty that if you have serious work to do….don’t buy this drill:p
