Thank you for video! Please update if battery plastic can be trimmed down to fit between DeWalt & Hercules.

jeffscomp says:

it looks like a Milwaukee with dewalt style batteries and makita blue color.

Jed Clampett says:

Would prefer a bag (like the Bauer) as opposed to the case.

Nathan Mills says:

Congrats, u earned my sub! 🙂 . What I’d like to see is a tear down of the bigger replacement battery pack. The pack replacement price of my beloved18v 3.0ah Li-ion Makita seems insane for what u get. Dam near get a new Makita tool with battery(ies) and charger for nearly same price. If these Hercules packs have decent cells inside (likely 10-2500mah 18650’s in the 2.5ah pack), I might be a buyer just to harvest the cells and re-build my failing Makita packs (that have 10-3000mah 18650’s). the price would be right, at that point…. 3:1 Hercules vs Makita replacement packs. I’ve already had to kludge together charging my existing Makita packs due to the dreaded ‘tronics lockout so nothing would change in my charging department lol. Ridgid branded cordless tools are starting to look better and better these days IMO just for the simple fact that the batteries and tools are lifetime replacement.

Siamak Lighvani says:

It is the same as milwaukee 18 Volt brushless and much cheaper

Baldemar 210 says:

looks and sound pretty solid. post follow up videos on this new line.

Azeem Sikandar says:

I have been very happy with mine. Only had it for two weeks.

sebastian g says:

And brushed out brushless?

moe green says:

Dewalt is junk

sebastian g says:

Is 1/2 or 3/8?

miguel mendez says:

Great video are they brushless?

Brett Wyrick says:

I’m looking at these Hercules products – I wonder what time will tell since (as you said) many of Harbor Freight’s power tools have been questionable. For the price point, however, I believe you could get a set of Makita 18V drill/impact for around $230, and for this drill and impact driver you’d be around $210 (if I’m not mistaken – $99 for the drill, $110 for the impact driver). The Hercules only comes with a 90-day warranty, vs. the bigger tool brands go up to 3. Any compelling reason to go Hercules? Is it really a pro competitor? I imagine they’re going to release more Lithium-ion tools that will take this 20V battery, but that has yet to be seen.

Micah Tyler says:

got the email this morning. Bauer brand will be the Chicago replacement.

kevin barreiros says:

The battery looks the same as the Makita Li-ion packs. Can you tell if the motor is brushed or brushless?

Warped Wackos says:

How has this drill held up for you? I just had my Rigid take a crap on me and now I am in the market for a new drill.

The Paws says:

No one goes to harbor freight for a tool that a job requires a especific well made utencil that a flabby tool that comes out from the freight line faster than donald trump tweets.
