Love the Hat

Everyone Can Do DIY projects says:

I have connected two kits and effectively doubled the length, no problem with the cuts. Nice video

AsTheWheelsTurn says:

seems to me that as soon as that thing gets a little dusty or the piece you are setting it on has some sawdust present its going to walk all over the place. I just use a level as a rip guide and clamp it to the work piece, still not ideal but less tinkery than this thing and its free because I already own the level.

Kurt M says:

Too expensive and too limited use. Each time you dismount the saw and mount it again you have to affix it in the same identical position you had it before in order to get accurate cuts. The rubber base will eventually start sliding on your work piece because it loses grip over frequent use and accumulation of saw dust. A nice 8ft straight edge would be much easier to use.

Tioga Fretworks says:

Wish Kreg would make a true 8’ track available. This system still won’t be a Festool track saw but that would make it better IMO

Ram Z says:

Great video thanks for the review

Jim Dillon says:

Looks interesting! Did you buy that with your own money, or did Kreg give it to you?

DenMark Phan says:

how would you clamp it down?

Casey Kerkmann says:

Nice review Mark. Before your first cut did you trim the edge (blue part) of the Accu-Cut? If not maybe that caused some inaccuracy? I see you learned from your first cut to always have your keeper (the piece you want) under the track. This way you were able to take advantage of the anti-splinter feature and not have to factor in the width of the blade when measuring and marking.
