M18 Milwaukee Battery Chainsaw 2727-21HD Test, Review, Hands-on. Better than gas!
I received the Milwaukee M18 Chainsaw for review! I have to be honest, I did have my doubts since they are still using the 18 volt batteries and it seems everyone else is moving on to the 40 volt and up.
I was totally impressed beyond my imagination how powerful and long the battery last. Leaps and bounds ahead of other saws I have used to date. I can see why it is listed as a “professional” saw. I also list a bunch of cool facts and info while cutting trying to kill the battery, wow, it cuts for a LOOONG time! Will be the Saw for my Jeep Wrangler!

another china crap bahaha
Nice review – watched bzeug’s review and almost made me entirely give up on wanting this saw now that it became available locally this week. Did you have any overheating?
Unbelievable.
The final cut! Pink Floyd would love that one.
Compared to gas its a joke. Good for Joe bag of donuts homeowner who doesnt know squat about engine maintenance.
Someone needs to show him how to use a chainsaw. If that was a gas one that got coughed he would get pulled into the wood. There’s a reason for the bucking teeth. Easy way to break a chainsaw holding it that far away from the wood.
I would like to know how this compares with the Makita XCU03PT 18V X2 (36V) LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 14″ Chain Saw. with makita you can get the saw, 4 batteries, charger or 2 batteries with grinder tool. Same price as Milwaukee tool with one battery.
No it isn’t better then gas. It is great for homeowners who need to trim up a few things, professionals use gas to get the Jobs done. Everyone is a fan boy if x brand but let’s not make crap up
Don’t take this seriously well slice a turkey awesomely for Thanksgiving
I had yellow 18 volt cordless until the whole set was stolen. For the most part I didn”t have any complaints with quality or performance but really didn”t have any reference with other brands except for observation of what my employees used.
Due to economic issues I ended up buying a used set of the M18’s and was totally impressed. Definitely a step up from the D’s. Love the fuel gage , that was worth it right there as no more guessing about the charge. Better feel, smoother, quieter and the 12volt Hackzall is the best thing since sliced cheese so not surprised about the chainsaw. That’s my next tool for sure as it always seems to be a pita to dig out the gas saw for just a few cuts and then wonder whether it will start or not.
Thanks for the review as I didn”t know Milwaukee made a chain saw.
I am buying that, I have almost every cordless tool already
*decent electric chainsaw.==>**ur2.pl/761** It has bogged down a few times while using it, but I was cutting through dry, very hard, hardwood. i backed off and went at it again and it went with no issues. Very quiet. Good investment.*
Think you could put a 20” Oregon bar/chain on it without any issues?
No it’s not.
its awsome u got it free, i paid 400$ for mine
Suck that teet
hi, did the battery hit up at least once?
The 9.0 batteries work nice as well it’s a great saw
Nice review

Milwaukee is one of the best power tools out there I love my 3/8 gun for working on my hawk N my car
A shill vid’s a shill vid
How many total full cuts did you get? I know they were various sizes but just curious what the final number was and maybe how long it ran? Thanks for the review man!
Sweet!
I’ve seen the 12.0 on 2 brushless drills with hook installed
how much wood would you say u cut on that one battery half a cord a full cord i haven’t seen a video yet that says that or stacks what they cut
Leatherface will be imperceptible
When will you do another pontoon boat rebuild video
Wow, the saw went for so long you ran out of info for it and had to use random facts about the company itself! Very impressive chainsaw!
