Review and demonstration of the new Troy-Bilt Model TB42 BC Brush Cutter and String Trimmer.
Cuts through the grass at idle takes out suckers around trees clean and easy, cuts saplings easily up to 1.5″ in diameter.
Had trouble with a 2.5″ diameter sapling. Excellent tree trimmer for removing small branches and twigs.

Hy Frederick, you can sharpen it, just dont use grinder because it will heat up and change metal structure, use that hand metal rasp that is crossed on your brush cutter.
wow. this is pretty cool review. I got 1 Q, since it used the electric motor…how long cn it last?
You can sharpen it. I had one years ago and sharpened the blade upwards of 10 times before i didn’t trust it. I don’t think it has anything to due with heat, as the earlier poster stated, i believe it has more to do with the balance of the blade. Doing it by hand allows you to just hit the spots that really need sharping and not throw off the balance of it.
I wish i had a rough bush that needed trimming – TY anyway Mr Dunn
