Stihl KM 131 R – Brushcutter Vs Pole Prunner – Part 1

This weekend I was at my deer lease trying to clear our some brush to kinda clean a section out and I compared the brush cutter and pole pruner.

You need to use a sawblade type of blade to cut small saplings and not a weed type of blade. I use one on my FS 130r and I’ve cut through 3 inch trees with no problem it makes a big difference when you use the right blade for the job

The 3 blade cutter is designed for heavy grass. Try using an 80+ Tooth blade on the trees. The 20 – 40T works good on small brush. The 40 – 80T will handle heavy stem brush.
