Nice review, but I can’t even find it on Amazon! But a year or so ago, I bought a 4 stroke Makita handheld blower and the only issue I have had is a very flimsy (at least by the screw that holds it on) air filter cover, so careful not to bump the cover as it may break by the screw. Does the trimmer have both a foam and clothlike air filters? Keep up the reviews as I would like to see the new Hitachi/Tanaka trimmers. Regards from Hawaii!

hey man i just purchased a used echo srm 266 and when i rev it up more than half throttle it seems to vibrate like crazy. any idea on what’s wrong with it? not sure if i’m gonna have to replace the drive shaft. any suggestions would be appreciated.

China doesn’t bother me much as long as it says made in china and they don’t try to hide it. A lot of the Echo equipment is made in China. Briggs is really the only company that went the opposite way and has moved production from China to the US! Looks like a well built trimmer. I have a Dolmar dealer near me and always check out the equipment when I stop by. Would love a PS-7910 saw from them.
